George Kyrimis, Founder/ CEO of the widely known and acclaimed “Danceradioglobal” online radio station, is a Greek DJ and entrepreneur extraordinaire who’s been involved in the music industry since 1993. Born August 1976 in Athens - Greece , George started his musical career in the early nineties as a DJ for some local clubs playing everything from soul, disco and rock music. George, who runs under the artist name “ The Architect ”, was known for his exceptional mixing techniques and unique style which made him a supreme and highly sought after talent at the time. It was also during that time that George started growing interest in electronic music, a genre not so popular in Greece back then. Shifting his style and musical range to include electronic sounds, he continued his DJing career growing rapidly a reputation that exceeded him all around Greece. Soon, George was a star in his own right, embracing the clubs with an unrivaled stage presence and performing in many Greek islands including Kos, Mytilene , Crete, Kythira and many others.
It was, however, his entrepreneuring nature and leadership quality that made him desire just a little bit more than just being a follower of trends. George, who possessed an astonishing and noteworthy aptitude in his profession, aspired to become a contributor and a trendsetter in the EDM world rather than just tag on. With years of experience under his belt , a creative mind and a strong will power , George decided to start his own radio station for electronic music.
Going through numerous seminars and extensive research, George was on his way to start a new movement in the online radio world. In February 15th 2006, an online radio station called danceradio.gr was being streamed from a desk-top pc from a house for the first time in 96k quality. Yes you read it right, from a house! Continuing to work and promote his new project, George managed to build a small listeners base within 6 months of his start date and began hosting some DJ shows on the website. His background as a DJ and involvement in the scene, in addition to his broad view and appreciation of all musical genres, helped him choose some quality shows and DJs that led to a rapid growth and a larger fan base that continued to grow every month. In January 2007, George met Nick Lewis ,aka Dj Kira ,who carried the promotions of Danceradio.gr outside Greece. Gaining international acclaim, it was time for George to start expanding and move forward. And it was, indeed, a huge expansion.

Today , what was once known as Danceradio.gr and what once streamed from a room in a house , has grown to be become “ Danceradioglobal.com” , the most advanced and powerful platform of online radio and, as the name indicates, “Global”. Hosting the biggest shows and names in the industry, the station today holds a fellowship and database of listeners that exceeds hundreds of thousands from all across the world.
