Diego Mongelós is a DJ and producer, born in Argentina.
His passion for electronic music star in early age, admiring bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, Kraftwerk, etc., and artists like Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, etc.
From a young age was influenced by trends of jazz, funk, disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno and experimental waves coming from the UK and the rest of Europe pay much attention to the sounds coming from Germany with the rise of EBM , listening to artists like Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb (EBM)
His start as a DJ in the midle of the nineties, following the sounds of DJs like Farley Jackmaster Funk, DJ Pierre, Franckie Knuck, Derry May, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and many others, but it was not until the late nineties he was very identified with the sound of progressive house artists like Leftfield and the Uk sounds from DJs like Sasha, John Diweed and other diverse artist as The Future Sound of London, Meat Beat Manifesto, Underworld, The Orb and Orbital they did emphasize and be attracted to get music from this new wave.
He was also seduced by the intelligent admiring artists like Aphex Twin, Autechre,
Squarepusher and also known to be an ardent collectors of Drum n bass tracks. (LTJ Bukem, Roni size, etc)
In 2001 began his career as a producer.
In 2002 obtained the first residence in a night club.
From there, Diego is transiting through the circuit of DJs and parties in his city and other
cities. Always staying true to their sound (an intrinsic and almost homogeneous duality that goes between the progressive and techno) and adapt to new trends.
In 2007 obtained the recognition as a producer of djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Moldan and Kosmas Epsilon.
He has participated numerous times in radio show of the most important radios of the world like Frisky Radio, Proton and Kiss fm, sharing the credits in this last as one of the few Latin artists to participate at various times in shows like Global vibes saturday, who have already traveled artists like Sultan, George Delk, Oliver Moldan, Chloe Harris, Fade Ferraye & many more. It was also the Artist of the week from one of the most important radio stations of Europe as Danceradio Greece.
It has obtained a global recognition as a producer and his tracks have been heard in important festivals such as CREAMFIELDS (Arg / Uk), MOONPARK (Arg), HOUSE SHIP (Brazil), WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE(USA), WALL OF SOUND (UK) and so emblematic clubs: PACHA (Arg), Warung (Brazil), Cinema (Colombia), MINISTRY OF SOUND (UK), SPACE (Ibiza) and many more.
Today its tracks are supported by djs like: Kosmas Epsilon, Oliver Moldan, M.O.D.E. , Luke Porter, Mike Hiratzka, Eelke Kleijn, Dubfire, D-Formation, Hernan Cattaneo to name a few and has captured a very successful clubs circuits in England, Germany, Greece, Turkey and much of Latin America.
He is currently editing in more than 16 international labels such as Frisky Records where he shares his remixes with artists like: Niko Fantin, Soliquid, Elegant Universe, Inkfish, Federico Epis, Cid Inc., Aurora Music with artists like: Murat Uncuaglu, Mini Mode and Phunk Investigation, Audio Logic Recordings with 16 bit lolitas, Jerome Isma-ae and Manuel de ..la Mare and Baroque Records with artist like: D-nox, Lutzenkirchen, SQL, Rhythm Code, Lank & Quivver.
Note that now included a track on a large compiled to Ibiza on CD for the label UNIVERSAL MUSIC with artists like Deadmau5, EDX & Kismet.
He was also invited to join the CD included in the monthly magazine's most important electronic music of Greece, such as the Freeze Magazine.
Diego continues today and editing numerous remixes and original track still resides in important festivals and in radio show of the most important stations worldwide.
