Yuan started off being heavily into uplifting trance that he heard coming from DDA (Dance Dance revoloution) video game in highschool. Yuan, originally from Fuzhou City in China decided to relocate to Beijing, the musical capital of his country to be around a more artistic community. However, Yuan found himself immersed in a place that seemed to have a void in EDM production. Back in late 2007 Yuan was trolling the various trance forums seeking advice for a start in production. He connected with many people but later met his current manager who was also a producer but outside of the EDM scene and would help Yuan get a foothold for his own sound. Yuan then discovered progressive music and after his very first release he became hooked. Late 2008 was when most of his releases began but in 2009 he began to catch the attention of bigger djs and started charting regularly on the popular Beatport.com site. Fast Foward to 2010 Yuan begins his push as a DJ starting with his residency on puresound.fm and pure.fm and recently also syndicating to the popular Danceradioglobal. Yuan also began extensive touring within China from Guangzhou to Beijing as well as his first international gig in Jakarta. Yuan also dropped a slew of major name projects for the Opus Tertio compilation on Blackhole, Daniel Kandi's Venice Beach remix on Anjuna, Matt Darey's Urban Astronauts remix on Nocturnal as well as more of his Forbidden Vol ep's on Auryn Music which continue to chart regulary. Yuan also has a much anticipated upcoming project with Meighan Nealon that has already been featured on the Discovery Channel and set to release quite soon. Not content with only one path he also has he eyes on production within the mainstream scene and recently signed an agreement with an Asian label for a Pop project set to release in summer. Yuan also now runs part of the distribution network of his home label Auryn Music and has garnered the respect of many both in the music and business side of things. The beautiful, unique melody that is Yuan Bing seems to have been embraced finally.
