If you get lumps when mixing heavy cream, it’s because you made butter. Wouldn’t it make more sense to use a spoonful of instant espresso powder and some sort of hazelnut flavoring, for instance? :). I think it could convert a lot of fruit cake haters into fruit cake lovers! )–I split my batch into two and made the Nutella and I also made Mint Chocolate Chip with some peppermit oil and mini chocolate chips (and green food coloring). I wouldn’t really call it ice cream though, more like frozen dairy goodness! So I plan on doing this with her now.. I used nutella and added in oreo cookie crumbs with peanut butter filling. You can’t buy Butter Pecan here so I’m gonna try me out some of that, but I can’t wait to make a cake flavored and a peanut butter flavor ice cream.
