I keep my White lipped pythons on a mixture of potting soil and soil from outside with leafs (don’t take soil that is fertilized) this works best for me and the cleaning crew will do fine in this substance. These snakes lay eggs and the mother snake coils around her eggs until they hatch, but after the eggs hatch, the mother snake does not care for her young.
This way the snakes have a wide variety to choose from.
Just pay attention to your animal and when it is looking for week just wait another week or so before feeding. The body is extremely slender and can be either grey, olive-green, various shades of brown, black, even blue and turquoise. They eat small prey including frogs, lizards, birds and rodents. This python comes from the lowland areas on the Southern half of the Island of New Guinea. The slaty-grey snake grows up to 1.3 m. The blind snake is a small, smooth, worm-like burrower with glossy, close fitting scales and their tails are bluntly rounded, ending in a short spur. Some of these species are arboreal while others favour semi-aquatic habitats. Boas are found in Mexico, Central and South America, and Madagascar. After a while they will become more at ease.
