Have you used a 911 and is the nib the same one on the 51a?
If they are trashing a whole brand, how many pens from that brand have they used? What was the problem, was it pen related or user related?

The more I keep buying and using pens like the Jinhao 51A and the Wing Sung 601, the more I wish the Parker "51" was still around.
So the PSA, when you are looking for a pen, especially as a new user, and a lot of people say "this pen is good" and you get someone coming in talking about how they are complete garbage, not worth a dime, etc, etc, etc.
