Very dissatisfied with our camper! The fridge is spacious, which allows people to bring more items.
Checked the cabinets and found broken supports because of knots in the wood that weakened supports and also some supports had staples miss the joints so very poor cabinet work. Overall it has been good; however, when the top is clamped down, it is required to take the top clamps off and raise the top about 2 inches to just get the door open which is a real pain.

What happened? Dealer had to fix leaking fresh water dump valve connection before delivery. We did a lot of research before purchasing.
The refrigerator works well, two stove burner more than adequate, I have added a portable microwave over the refrigerator, the hot water is plentiful, the shower a little cramped but not too bad, plenty of closet space and I can store food very well under the bed and in the cabinets. These hard and soft side campers easily fit a large variety of trucks found on the roadways today. Like the light color interior. Ask a question about working or interviewing at Palomino RV. After all the browsing and research we found the Palomino Puma 38rlb. Management seems to pay little attention to the line workers. The Roof: Door Handles and Knobs: Windows: The Floor: 2.
I purchased a 2019 35’ Puma with three slides. Awning is great with full power including LED lighting. Read some good and bad reviews before i bought. Shame on YOU!!! Split corner pieces on the corners of the top portion of the camper, allowing water to enter, even when parked (as a previous reviewer has mentioned). It's not like we are in Arizona in super hot sun. It seems that the seal gets stuck inside being jam and may have cause water leakage. The toilet is loose and it sits crooked because it hits the black tank vent pipe that was installed in the wrong location. We had the dealer fix the trim inside around the doors, but now it's curling up again. This is a great combination! Check our FAQ. Thank you. Also I they charged me $1400 for the 7ft awning which I found out the 8.5ft is only $800. It does not. Cheap Chinese made junk. We have also had problems with the door handles coming out when we use the doors. The battery shut off didn't work, they had a wire looping the circuit effectively bypassing the switch and the fuse. I really like the layout of two rooms, the swivel TV, and two kitchens. The roof membrane has bubbles and wrinkles. Hauls well on truck. Ours has been fully waterproof for our full ownership. Decent place to work but definitely has room for improvement. Its a camper, s**t breaks, but its easy to fix and its great to haul the family around in. There should be at least a warning sticker by the lock on the outside of the door or and also a tag on the key chain as a reminder to latch the latches..Is it going to take a death to fix this situation I am afraid. There were plenty of small things that need fixed through out as well. I installed a swivel on the table. Ill now have to tell these potential customers about lack of support.
If they would provide good or even just adequate quality control, their camper would have an excellent reputation and be in high demand. Let’s start by saying Palomino was contacted, but with every other review I see the same deal... nothing, silence, no reply. 14 Palomino Real-Lite floor plan models to choose from with Truck Camper reviews, ratings, available features, and floor plan layouts. Not super impressed as this year the overhead cabinets are literally “canvas duffel bags” and worthless. See us for more details. In all, I like my 1500 SS because I camp alone and I have not attempted it with a dog or companion.
I purchase a SolAire bunk model RV Oct 2015, I have bee plagued with problems, large slide out floor separate from walls, Repair was covered by warranty, reason for separation, Too much pressure on original screws they snapped. Was a decent rv company to work for they were on a uphill climb an on a path to become a successful business an a competitor to rival rv company's was a fun but strict company to work for.
This is the big washer that suppose to be installed between the big spindle Castle nut and the front bearing. A/C works well, stove and fridge(s) work well, mattress hard as a rock without foam pad.
We have always use water hook up but last weekend we need to just use the tank water. However, most recent owners said that quality control has dramatically improved in recent years. Nice double bowl sink with removable covers to give you even more working space in kitchen. It also seems as if they really hate to return a phone call after 4 attemps and messages left. First of all this destination trailer looks great from the outside for being an aluminum trailer. The first issue we had was with the main AC unit. The algorithm is subject to change in future. I had the dealer deal with problem number one (above) with very little if any improvement.
For what I paid, $23k and change, although that was cheaper than other brands with similar floor plans, I expect more. I wish the bathroom sink was a bit bigger, but they are all that small. Now I call Forest River this morning to let them know the ceiling is soaked and wet. Maxxair fan in kitchen is easy to use and works well to provide fresh air and remove humidity. The dinette table is so flimsy we have already ordered a better “foot for it” and then they are so worried about weight yet they have an additional board which is for the “dinette bed” that there is no place to store and have to lug around. It can also run with AC, DC, or gas, depending on what you prefer. The only available one, because they apparently sell so fast, was a 2021. In 2005, Forest River, Inc. and it's divisions were acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. We only used it twice because we just couldn't find the time to take it out like we would have liked to. I have removed any reference on my camper to Access RV, and when asked I say go to further east like Wyoming to buy your camper. I really hate this camper. The list of things wrong with this camper is extensive and growing; I would need more than the 5000 characters. Actually a Bronco B-1500.
Review #1164586 is a subjective opinion of poster. We bought this lightly used. Palomino Rv was first mentioned on PissedConsumer on Jun 27, 2016 and since then this brand received 10 reviews. Additional wardrobe in Bunk house is nide sized. Nevertheless, I will always be sore about the references to a "gray water tank" both in the brochure and owner's guide, that I rudely found out later did not exist. The bathroom caulking was caulked right over top of dirt and shavings from manufacturing. It is super brittle. I learned alot while employed there.
