You can test out to see if the Amiibo or Power Tag still read as Wolf Link in other games such as Animal Crossing or Yoshi's Wooly World. Do you know of a irl store that sells the nfc stickers?

I'm still quite bummed after buying the Wolf link (at launch of BOTW) finding out it has only 3 hearts as opposed to the 20 hearts people get who have a Wii or have a friend with a Wii and Twilight princess, I expected to get a port or something so as a Switch only owner I could get my Wolf pet up to 20 hearts but no. If you have any pull with Nintendo execs, you could petition them to release TP HD for Switch. We don't even know how the amiibo is gonna work exactly with that game. Complete sets of BotW NFC tags can be found for cheap ($15 to $20 or less) on Wish, eBay, Newegg, Amazon. LOL. Will my progress be deleted if I apply the DLC pack?
You can find these at most Gamestops in store, but check and see if your local store has it in stock. The creator of TagMo seems to have removed it. Possible to get a 20 heart wolf link without TP.
