This is Tyree's best work. She gets caught up in her life, family, men, sex and voodoo. Still this work is strong, and brilliant, and will intrigue you from start to finish. A hot-tempered earl in the wrong place and time. Loved this book, I felt like I was in Nawlins. It was a very slow read, but interesting. Great audio book. Being that the book is 13 years old I doubt there will be a part two. Omar Tyree, Writer: All Access. Leslie feels used by others -- her housemates and especially her family members -- but she is unable or unwilling to remove herself from the situations that make her feel this way. It’s one of my favorites. There was a problem loading your book clubs. This book was an okay read for me.
