It would have been good to include this on the room details prior to booking as I was expecting to be able to use the kitchen. it clearly states on booking site where you will be staying ie on site or in another building nearby and whether breakfast is included so dont know why people feel theyve been mislead on other reviews they just didnt read the booking details correctly!,price reflects this,we had flat e daubeny building and it was just perfect, all on one level(some of the other flats have a mezzanine level as the bedroom, so worth getting flat e if mobility is an issue,thats the biggest flat! Better value than a central hotel. The breakfast was okay- although I didn’t get issued a breakfast card from the porters upon check-in or when I asked where breakfast was so I had to negotiate with the cashier and show my booking receipt so I wasn’t charged. ),massive front room,comfy suite and bed,breakfast in the great hall was great,buffet style but a lady dishes up the cooked breakfast,you dont help yourself although you can come back for more so no problems,also toast,pastries,cereal,fruit,yoghurt,etc,tea coffee ,fruit juices that you can help yourself to! more. At least we can say we went to Magdelen College. The charges for all single rooms include weekly cleaning, utilities, bed linen, which is changed weekly, and a mini-fridge. The College guarantees graduate students two years of housing in College accommodation. the grounds are amazing and the walk around the water meadow and seeing the deer and stags was brilliant,oxford is a beautiful city and this was a perfect base for our few days here,i would recommend this place and would stay here again if i come back to oxford,just make sure you check when booking if you are in the main building,waynflete building or daubeny building which is where the self contained flats are!
