As a servant, she was assigned to be responsible for the Emperor’s tea, which gave her access to the emperor, Toghon Temur. No words can describe the awe I had when the beginning sequence began for the drama. Sung Nyang is about as strong as they come. The three main leads, future-obvious love triangle and gorgeous photogenic models *drool*. She worked as a palace maid. And that, my friends, is super special awesome! For this historical distortion, I could not blame the Koreans as well for giving negative feedback on the series. Looks like I’m not the only one overwhelmed by her outfits in the drama.
Earlier episodes: it was said to have been filmed at the Hengdian World Studios located in Hengdian, China. The one she wore about 4 weeks ago… oh, I’ll have to go find a pic. That took a while to fix up, but once it did, the first thing I did with it was catch up with Empress Ki (because of course that’s the first thing you do after almost 2 weeks of no internet), which I had missed roughly 3-4 episodes of. The banquet scene featured all of the stars of “Empress Ki,” including Joo Jin Mo, Ha Ji Won, Ji Chang Wook, Jo Jae Yoon, Baek Jin Hee, Kim Seo Hyung, Jin Yi Han, and Yoon Ah Jung, among others. So yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve been so dedicated to an epic drama such as this one (The Heirs honestly doesn’t count in my books ><). But I can’t help it!
