Well in my experience when Amazon rejects you after an onsite they just ghost you. Should I consider myself rejected? What was the outcome? If the interview was with the same recruiter who contacted you, they may have some question they thought of after the end of the interview; they may wish to check your availability for follow-up; or they may be extending you the courtesy of saying you may not be right for this position but there is another position which may be a better fit.
