If space simulation is your thing and Elite:Dangerous resides in your hard drive, you should try it in VR, because there is no way back to a flat screen once you try it. Well, not with the Quest, not after having tried it, hours and hours, with the Rift and the Rift S. The experience was short, because of lag, stutters and level of detail. Despite the lower FOV and resolution than my PiMax 5K+ I find the graphics look great cranking out a smooth 35-50 fps with most of the graphics setting on high or max with 'DD Seattle/Tacoma Airport' and ORBX 'TrueEarth US Washington HD' plug in loaded.

I’ve had a Oculus Quest on loan from Oculus for a couple of months now, and it was great to have a chance, finally, to choose titles from my Rift S library. Play solo or with friends. The fluidity that I find in DCS, for example, is nowhere to be seen with the Quest. Unable to start VR using Oculus Quest. And the Anker cable Oculus suggests is nowhere to be seen (at least in Europe), so I had to look for an alternative, another Ankle cable, 1.8mts long, that works.
