Arriving at the club each weak with a bag of fresh cut diamonds, Fergus Alexander’s mission is to find and deliver only the finest product to any dance floor that he steps foot on. From polished, multi-room super clubs, to wretched hives of scum and villainy, Fergus brings a wealth of experience, a selection of innovative, deep, club heaving house and techno, and a spasm inducing hands on approach to the mix.

First coming to attention in Australia near the turn of the millennium, Fergus has carved out a reputation for seamless mixing, inimitable track selection, and otherworldly dance floor choreography. Australian clubbers have been treated to an experienced DJ with innovative flair and a reputation for throwing down properly in any situation, from outdoor day events, festival crowds, heaving nightclubs and sordid after parties. A deeply personal DJ, he seeks quality music far and wide, to bring only the finest deep, rhythmic, bumping and emotive cuts to the decks, using his selections as tools to create an intimate and physical relationship between dancer and DJ.

His ability to mold dancefloors into sweating tangles of flesh have seen him called upon regularly by the clubbing set, finding him at renowned venues including Empire, Family, Barsoma, Capulet, Brown Alley (Melb), Killing Time (Melb) and notorious parties such as Subtrakt, Buxton, Therapy, Dark Beat, Deeparture and OK Kana as well as festivals including Future Music Festival, Creamfields, Earthcore QLD, Earth Frequency and Manifest. However, it was his collaboration with fellow cronies BPM and Mike Redfern, and their long running, tightly organized Logic club, where he has done the most damage. Cooperating to bring to Australia Joris Voorn, Gui Boratto, Phonique, Deepchild, Tigerskin and more in recent times, Fergus has had to balance dual roles of industry influencer, and dancefloor destroyer.

Performing alongside international talent each week served to cement Fergus as an established talent in his own right, and at any time of day or night, from early support, to headlining act Fergus has dominated dance floors over his storied career. Taking cues from the tunes that he digs so deeply for, Fergus is a “diamond in the rough:” an innovative DJ, with production and dance floor sensibilities, a unique and personal sound spanning the full breadth of disco, house, progressive and techno, and the stamina and direction to carry a party from doors open to well after sunrise.
