How do labels send material to Release Promo?
With Release Promo, labels upload your MP3s via the web to our server. All you have to do is simply login with your label userid & password (which you choose upon signing up). You then follow the simple Label Admin instructions on how to upload your releases for feedback.
As a label why should I join Release Promo?
Release Promo is an extremely cost effective way to promote your music on a global scale. It’s simple... there are no costs to the record label! To date, there have been numerous licences as a direct result of Release Promo. Register your label today!
What are the fees involved (to DJs)?
DJ Membership to Release Promo is $59usd per month. Depending on when you join, you will be charged on the 1st or the 15th of each month. There are no fees for labels to submit tracks to the pool. Apply for DJ membership today!
I want sign up as a DJ. What are the payment options?
Release Promo accepts both credit card (Visa/Mastercard) & PayPal.
Are there any conditions if I want to leave the pool after joining?
If you are accepted into Release Promo, you must honour the 3 month minimum membership period. For more information, please see the Terms & Conditions
How many mp3s are loaded per week into Release Promo?
On average, Release Promo is receiving approximately 300-500 mp3s per week.
What bit rate are Release Promo MP3s?
All Release Promo MP3s are encoded at 320kbps.
Why can’t I listen to any of the previews?
Because all material uploaded to Release Promo is not yet released, we can only allow logged in DJs to listen to the previews. Please complete the DJ application if you wish to be considered for acceptance.
