Karlos first began mixing in 1992 mainly at after club parties in Pembrokeshire, only having a few records at the time, but this soon grew into an obsession spending most of his spare time and money in records shops. He eventually bought a set of second hand SoundLab belt drive decks and an old Gemini mixer from a mate and so it began! After eventually saving up enough money and purchasing his Technics SL1200s, he was well and truly hooked and began building a nice little record collection along the way.

Karlos’ major influences were Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Anthony Pappa, Underworld and Leftfield which still rings true today. He soon expanded his list of DJ’s who influenced him to the likes of Billy Nasty, Jeff Mills, Gayle San, Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing, to name but a few. His favourite club hot spot back then was The Hippo Club, in Cardiff where he frequented to catch most of these DJ’s perform. Karlos always had his roots firmly planted in Progressive House having mixed most types of dance music, from vocal house right through to break beat, dabbling a little in intelligent drum and bass and lots of techno. He has travelled all over the country to visit various events to watch all of the aforementioned DJ’s play.

DJing has remained true with Karlos throughout most of his life and has always been a constant go to for comfort in times of need, his passion. He is currently one of the Resident DJ’s at AATM Radio hosting a weekly show with guest mixes from DJs all over the world. He is also a resident DJ with Transmission Lost and with Saturo Sounds. Karlos has also joined DJs Inbox as a resident DJ, doing interviews, charts and track reviews for new and exclusive music. Karlos has also had recorded sets for Blue Amazon's Resonate Together radio show and also on Proton Radio with the Bedroom Bedlam show. Karlos has also successfully competed in a number of competitions, wining the DJs Inbox Mix of the Year, 3rd place in both the 21C Progressive House MOTY (Winning the MOTM comp) competition and Saturo Sounds competition. He has also featured as a guest DJ for Brent Lawson's (PRO B TECH, NOIR) Proton Radio too with many more guest mixes to come.
