Now in his 30th year as a Dj, U/ME came of age in the Chicago House music scene, sneaking into clubs to hear the likes of Derrick Carter and Mark Farina. Those early years shaped him as a young Dj even though he started out playing downtempo and eventually Drum and Bass.To U/ME it's all House Music. Five years ago U/ME started playing House music because, "I felt like I had earned the right to play the music I love through many years of dedication and devotion to the craft." U/ME is Gabe Real's House Music moniker, although he'll tell you he just plays Love songs.
